HI, to sum up the TTRPG I want to run again, it's:
"a ttrpg about magical outcasts who must journey across their whimsical post-apocalyptic world (in a steam airship) to meet god"
I'm picking a group of no more than 4 players; I've also decided officially that it'd be starting on June 18th, ie Tuesdays @ 8pm-10pm EST (but for pst i think that'ssss 5pm-7pm? lbr i'm more used to converting pst to est.)

every playable situation here is a first meeting for the characters involved because i cannot do any "they were a ship all along" psls without months of build-up or establishing an excruciating 1000 word backstory, SO! this bypasses that by making EVERY situation be a first meeting built on uncomfortable circumstances.

(not that it has to be shippy, it can be a pair of unlikely characters partaking in companionable suffering or thinking about how to get out of this, too.)

comment the reason/scenario/character combo ("1/A/a,") or leave it to me, your choice~

POSSIBLE REASONS FOR MARRIAGE:
1. Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
2. Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
3. Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement; alternately, you're the spoils of war.
4. Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
5. Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

NOTE: alternatively, if parsing it as "this is a team game and our characters are on different teams and there's an agreement that their marriage would resolve conflict or create an alliance" is more interesting to you than flat-out au'ing your character's background, we can do this

FIRST MEETING SCENARIOS:
A. Courtship → To get to know each other and encourage affection, you're made to meet up for a date. Bonus if you occasionally have to pretend to be romantic on this date because you can't help but suspect that someone from your family is watching.
B. Engagement party → Be it a huge formal affair or a small get-together, you're celebrating (or pretending) this occasion—and finally being introduced to one another, likely surrounded by the people who put you up to this.
C. Wedding night → You first met under that figurative wedding arch and didn't talk during the wedding itself, so your night alone in this room with one another is the first chance at real conversation—with the implicit pressure to consummate said marriage. R18 is very possible here, which also means further degrees of dubcon could ALSO happen, but don't be surprised if I make us a private post, I'm shy.

CHARACTERS I CAN TAG YOU WITH:
a. Echo from Pandora Hearts (very much going along with it, hiding her thoughts and feelings until she explodes, will take initiative if you're slow)
b. Zwei from also Pandora Hearts (rude and defiant, could be the aggressor/bully in most cases, but is also shy and dumb at her core)
c. Dawn, Child of the Sun a Meikyuu Kingdom OC (eager for this marriage, gasp, and more likely to kabedon you, but is also awkward and dumb-)
d. Another Mochijun Character (if you want me to play any other ph character or even a vnc character i will do it-)
e. NOT A MOCHIJUN CHARACTER (mystery option! even to me! maybe i will try playing a twst who knows but if you pick this we'll find out together)
f. YOU CHOOSE?! (tell me who to play, even if it's nobody i've played before! but i reserve the right to end the thread after 15 comments if i'm not vibing, but we can always do more threads so it's totes cool)

WHAT IS ARIUM?

• In Arium, everyone suggests elements/aesthetics/aspects/things they want to see—and narrow down favorites by voting. The GM then takes these chosen things and melds them into a setting/plot/story/world for everyone to engage with, while ensuring it doesn't feel like someone's crowded kitchen sink in the process.

• Though the system can take a bit of getting used to, it's ultimately pretty simple! There's 4 stats, it utilizes 2D6, encourages skill and item creation, and all characters have abilities, flaws, etc to consider. Letting your imagination and creativity flow is crucial, as this is a very "live your best life" kind of game.

CAN YOU GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE OF A TTRPG CREATED WITH ARIUM?

There's three I could share, but for simplicity's sake I'll link info on just one:

Gravesong Trello board (ie where we made the lists and voted on them)
Gravesong setting info document
Gravesong player characters
Gravesong NPCs

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

• The campaign would last about half a year, running no later than January 2024.

• I'll be taking on no more than 4 players, because I know my limits when it comes to giving players involvement and attention.

• Sessions would take place once a week and generally last 2-3 hours, dependent on everyone's energy levels.
